Health and Wellbeing

The Club is delighted to be one of the two Cavan clubs selected to participate in Phase 2 of the GAA Healthy Club project. Our near neighbours Killygarry is the other Cavan club & we wish them all the best .

GAA Healthy Clubs was created to help clubs in their efforts to meet the health & wellbeing needs of their members & the communities they serve. Driven by the GAA’s structures at national, provincial, county & club level the project has generated a unique public/ private partnership involving the Irish health sector:- HSE/ National office for Suicide Prevention/ Healthy Ireland and Irish Life.

The Clubs involved will embark on an 18 month journey to achieve required & desired criteria. We look forward to the challenges & invite every member to be involved at some level. The Healthy Club Co ordinator is Mary McCarthy , Club Vice Chairperson and our Health & Wellbeing Officer is Brian Galligan. Bí Folláin.
